Electronic / Experimental / Pop (Sweden)
A constant play with textures and beats, a fairytale, an enervating play, experimental voices fighting the animal within, small fragments and twisted puzzles, a living improvisation... This is Sun Has Found Me. After a successful tour in southern Europe with their first album on it’s way and with blessings from the critics, they are now crossing the Atlantic Ocean like the Vikings before them, to seek new worlds.
Lovisa Samuelsson, singer and songwriter, got into music at the age of 5 by learning classical cello and piano. At the age of 17 she got her first guitar and started to write songs. She released an EP in 2007 and one year later, entered the prestigious Academy of Music at the University of Gothenburg. In 2009, she received the Ted Gärdestad prize which is awarded each year to one upcoming talent of Swedish music. She has performed numerous concerts all across Europe including France, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and Norway. "We all need some breathing space sometimes, a moment where we can sit down and just look out the window, maybe daydream a little, maybe just watch what’s happening outside and just be. I find this space when I listen to Lovisa Samuelsson... Backed by a piano, guitar, or sometimes a cello, she performs soft, beautiful ballads.” Pär Berglund, Meadow Music 2010
