The Hillbilly Rocket Ship is a montreal collective launched in 2011, bringing together surf rock, country, rock and roll and blues in a dashy and abrasive fashion. The quartet include Jean Phillippe Demers on bass, Hugo Joyal, Jim Dubé (both on guitars and vocal) and Mike Levasseur on drums.
